Job summary

Sheridan is seeking a Manufacturing Associate for finishing and bindery work in Streetsboro, OH. We train you to operate high-speed bindery equipment and support a nighttime production team from 7pm to 7am. This full-time role offers overtime opportunities and a path to long-term growth.

Candidate should be ready to learn, work well with others, and contribute to quality finished books and printed materials. No prior bindery experience required, training provided.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety rules, and maintenance instructions.
• Basic math skills including add/subtract and measuring devices.
• Willingness to learn new tasks and operate bindery equipment.
• Reliability and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Feed books/signatures into machine
• Pack books into cartons
• Safely move materials/books to and from workstation
• Perform hand operations as required
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace
