Job summary

Sheridan is hiring a Manufacturing Associate - Finishing/Bindery for night shift in Ohio. We'll train you to run high-speed bindery equipment, feed, pack, inspect, and meet daily production goals in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

No prior bindery experience is required; training will cover safety, operation of machinery, and quality standards. Eligible applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Basic math skills and measurement reading.
• Willingness to learn and operate bindery equipment.

Responsibilities

• Feed books/signatures into machines.
• Pack books into cartons.
• Move materials safely between workstations.
• Perform hand operations as required.
• Work with a team to meet daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products for quality.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace.
