Job summary

Sheridan is hiring a Manufacturing Associate for finishing/bindery on nights (7pm–7am) in Ohio. We'll train you to operate high‑speed bindery equipment and produce books and printed materials.

You’ll work as part of a team to meet daily production goals, handle materials safely, and learn through hands-on training. No bindery experience required; high school diploma or GED is acceptable, and overtime is available.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED required, or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Basic math skills, add/subtract, and ability to use a measuring device
• Read and interpret documents such as work orders, safety rules, and procedures
• Take pride in doing quality work and work well with a team
• Willingness to learn finishing/bindery processes and operate machinery

Responsibilities

• Feed books/signatures into machine
• Pack books into cartons
• Safely move materials/books to and from workstation
• Perform hand operations as required
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace
