Sheridan is hiring for a Manufacturing Associate on the nighttime shift (7p–7a) in Hudson, OH. We train you to run high-speed bindery equipment and contribute to producing books and printed materials.

No prior bindery experience is required, and you’ll join a team focused on safety, quality, and on-time production. We offer full-time hours, overnight schedule, overtime opportunities, and comprehensive training to help you grow with Sheridan.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, workplace, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic math skills, add/subtract, and ability to use a measuring device.
• Basic problem-solving skills.
• Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
• Can read basic job instructions and measurements.
• Take pride in doing quality work.
• Show up reliably and work well with a team.

Responsibilities

• Feed books/signatures into machine.
• Pack books into cartons.
• Safely move materials/books to and from workstation.
• Perform hand operations as required.
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace.
