The position requires three years of maintenance experience, the ability to read technical manuals and blueprints, and a valid SC driver’s license. A on-call rotating schedule is expected to ensure continuous operations and patient safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of maintenance experience required.
• 3 years can substitute for the LMC Engineering Mechanic Apprenticeship program.
• SC driver's license and clean driving history required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency repairs on mechanical/electrical equipment.
• Install, repair plumbing systems and associated components.
• Respond to alarms and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Work on building systems including HVAC, electrical, and fire safety components.
• Read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints to plan work.
