Lexington Health in West Columbia, SC, seeks an experienced facilities maintenance technician to perform a wide range of mechanical and electrical repairs across hospital facilities and equipment. You will interpret technical manuals and blueprints, troubleshoot building systems, and respond to equipment alarms promptly.

The role requires 3+ years in maintenance/construction, a high school diploma or equivalent, and relevant SC licensing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience in maintenance/construction.
• Certification from the Municipal Association of South Carolina or other approved licensing board; driving record acceptable.
• Ability to read technical service manuals and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency repairs on mechanical/electrical equipment.
• Inspect systems for leaks, damage, and repair as needed.
• Work on boilers, chillers, pumps, piping, and electrical components.
• Navigate building automation software to monitor equipment status and alarms.
• Respond to alarms for AHUs, cooling towers, boilers, and chillers.
• Supervise helper staff and coordinate with team to complete tasks.
