Job summary

Lexington Health is seeking an experienced Maintenance/Plumbing Technician to perform skilled tasks across hospital facilities, with emphasis on plumbing systems and related infrastructure. The role requires reading blueprints, extensive preventive maintenance, and collaboration with other trades to ensure safe, compliant operations.

The position is full-time, on-site in Columbia, SC, with day-to-day management of repairs and installations and on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 3 years of experience in maintenance/construction.
• Certification from the Municipal Association of South Carolina or other approved plumbing license.
• Must be able to read technical service manuals and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• M performs general installation and repairs of water, steam, vacuum, and plumbing systems.
• Installs, maintains, and repairs plumbing fixtures and pumps; inspects backflow devices.
• Troubleshoots and repairs equipment and building systems as needed.
• Coordinates with vendors for extensive repairs and equipment certification.
• Maintains safety and regulatory compliance during projects.
