Job summary

Lexington Health in West Columbia, SC is seeking a skilled Engineering Services Technician for full-time night shift (11:00 pm – 7:30 am). Primary focus on mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems within a hospital setting.

Responsibilities include routine and emergency repairs, responding to building automation alarms, piping work, leak inspections, on-call duties, and coordination with the team to complete projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum Years of Experience: 3 Years in Maintenance.
• SC driver's license and acceptable driving history.
• Must be able to read technical service manuals and blueprints with basic comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Makes routine and emergency repairs on mechanical/electrical equipment.
• Repairs plumbing, piping, and related fixtures and systems.
• Responds to alarms from building automation systems and coordinates repairs.
• Works with a rotating on-call schedule per policy.
• Inspects for leaks and damage; replaces components as needed.
• Operates tools and equipment for facilities construction and maintenance.
• Trains and guides helpers; ensures safety and infection control compliance.
• Plans work with supervisors to complete tasks efficiently.
