Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. is seeking a dedicated ER Technician for a night shift at our Fort Worth facility. You will support clinical teams with vital signs, specimen collection, and basic patient care in a 16-bed small-format hospital, contributing to safe, compassionate care.

The role emphasizes accurate data collection, lab processing, patient safety, and adherence to privacy standards. Travel to other facilities may be required; strong teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with healthcare training.
• EMT-P/Paramedic or equivalent combined with related clinical experience.
• ACLS/BLS certification required in most markets; PALS preferred.
• English fluency and strong communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Collect, report, and document clinical data; take vital signs and specimens.
• Collect labs and perform tests per policies and regulations.
• Assist with patient activities and plan of care per charge nurse.
• Provide superficial wound care and ensure patient safety.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Maintain clean, safe environments and aseptic techniques.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Travel to all facility locations as required; attend mandatory meetings.
