Job summary

Emerus Fort Worth is seeking an ER Technician to provide technical assistance and supportive patient care across assigned areas. You will take vital signs, collect specimens, and assist with activities and care per the plan of care.

Responsibilities include wound care, patient safety, privacy and confidentiality, aseptic technique, admission/transfer/discharge support, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with healthcare pathways.
• EMT/Corpsman certifications with relevant ER experience desired.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS active certifications preferred in most markets.

Responsibilities

• Collect, report, and document clinical data.
• Take vital signs, height/weight, intake/output, pulse oximetry.
• Collect laboratory specimens and perform tests.
• Assist with patient activities and care per plan of care.
• Provide superficial wound care.
• Maintain patient safety and privacy.
• Provide and maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control measures.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge.
• Prepare patients and chaperone during examinations/procedures.

Medical Corpsman program + 1 year exp

3+ years Certified Anesthesia/OR Tech (Wisconsin market)
