Zusammenfassung

Emerus is seeking an ER Tech to provide technical assistance and supportive patient care across assigned areas. You will collect specimens, monitor vital signs, and aid with treatments under nurse direction in a bustling hospital setting.

Requirements include high school diploma or GED, BLS/ACLS/PALS where applicable, and experience with IV starts, phlebotomy, and EKG initiation. Travel to all facility locations is expected.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS/ALS, and PALS are required or strongly preferred depending on market.
• Experience with IV starts, phlebotomy, and EKG initiation is preferred.
• English fluency in speaking and writing is required.
• Multiple pathways exist (EMT/Paramedic, CNA, nursing student) with related experience.

Aufgaben

• Collect, report, and document clinical data including vitals and specimens.
• Perform lab testing in line with policies and CLIA regulations.
• Assist with patient activities and provide safety during care.
• Maintain aseptic technique and infection control measures.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Travel to all facility locations as required.
