Job summary

Emerus is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift (7pm-7am) at a 16-bed small-format hospital in Fort Worth, TX. The role requires strong nursing judgment, patient-centered care, and adherence to clinical policies.

Essential qualifications include an Associate’s degree with RN licensure, 2+ years ER experience, current BLS/ACLS/PALS, and TNCC preferred. Night/weekend differentials and 401(k) matching are offered, with free parking provided.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse without sanctions, required.
• 2+ years full-time RN experience in ER or other comparable experience, required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross, required; TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Room.
• Provide age-specific and developmentally appropriate nursing care.
• Document medical records accurately and concisely.
• Follow physician’s orders and infection control procedures.
• Perform admissions, discharges and transfers; assist with procedures.
