Job summary

Emerus, a leader in small-format hospitals, seeks an ER Technician to provide clinical support and patient care on the night shift in Fort Worth, TX. You will collect data, assist with procedures, and help maintain a safe environment across assigned areas.

Required are BLS and ACLS/PALS where applicable, EMT-P/AEMT or paramedic credentials and ER experience, with fluency in English. Travel and staff involvement may be required.

Qualifications

• EMT-P or AEMT or Licensed Paramedic with 1 year ER experience.
• EMT-B with ER exposure may be considered.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications required or strongly preferred.
• Fluency in English, strong written and spoken communication.
• Experience with IV starts, phlebotomy, and initiating EKG is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect, report, and document clinical data; take vital signs and samples.
• Perform lab testing per policies and CLIA/COLA requirements.
• Assist with patient activities and care per care plan.
• Provide superficial wound care and ensure patient safety.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality of patient information.
• Support admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
