Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. is seeking a part-time ER/clinical support professional for night shifts (7pm-7am) at a 20-bed small-format hospital.

You will collect vital signs, perform lab testing, assist with patient care, and help maintain safety and infection control in a high-demand environment. The role requires EMS credentials (EMT-P/EMT-B/AEMT or CNA with hospital experience), hospital experience, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Active paramedic/EMT certifications with related hospital experience.
• Fluency in English, both written and oral.
• Presence of required state/federal clearances as applicable.
• Ability to perform clinical data collection and vital signs.
• Knowledge of sterile technique, infection control, and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Collect, report, and document clinical data; take vital signs and specimens.
• Perform lab testing per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with patient activities and care per plan of care.
• Provide superficial wound care and patient safety measures.
• Maintain privacy, clean environment, and aseptic technique.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge; travel to locations as needed.
• Prepare patients and chaperone during procedures; ensure proper supplies.
