Job summary

Emerus in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an ER Technician to provide technical assistance and patient care across assigned areas during night shifts. You will collect vitals, draw specimens, assist with activities of daily living, and help ensure a safe, clean environment under the nurse’s direction.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, current BLS, and EMT-P/Paramedic or CNA experience. COLA/CLIA guidelines, patient privacy, and infection control are essential, with travel to all

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent plus related medical training/experience.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS/ALS certification required in most markets; PALS preferred.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Collect, report, and document clinical data including vital signs, height/weight, intake/output, pulse oximetry and specimens.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing per policy and procedures (COLA/CLIA).
• Assist with patient activities and care as directed by the charge nurse.
• Provide superficial wound care and maintain patient safety.
• Maintain patient privacy and infection control.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Travel to all facility locations as required.
