Job summary

Carson Valley Health in Gardnerville, NV is seeking an Emergency RN (Per Diem Nights) to provide professional nursing care in the Emergency Department, delivering age-appropriate care across the lifespan in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting.

Required: Associate degree in nursing and Nevada RN license, along with BLS, ACLS, PALS; TNCC within 6 months of hire. ENPC is preferred. Per diem status adds 15% to the hourly rate; schedule varies.

Qualifications

• ENPC recommended.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patient and family needs to provide high-quality care.
• Deliver patient care, evaluate outcomes, and adjust plans as needed.
• Perform system assessments and monitor for abnormal parameters.
• Document and communicate discharge planning needs.
