Job summary

Qualifications

• An associate’s degree in nursing is required.
• Active Nevada RN license is required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification are required; TNCC within 6 months of hire.
• ENPC certification is recommended.
• Emergency department experience is preferred.
• Strong customer service and English-reading/comprehension skills, bilingual abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patient and family needs to provide high-quality care.
• Provide patient care, evaluate outcomes, consult with others, and adjust care plans as needed.
• Perform system assessments and monitor patients for abnormal parameters.
• Identify discharge planning needs on admission.
• Collaborate with patients, families and the care team to develop a plan of care.
• Document nursing care accurately in the EMR.
