Job summary

Carson Valley Health seeks an Emergency Department Registered Nurse for night shifts on a per diem basis. The role requires an active Nevada RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, with TNCC completion within six months of hire. ENPC is preferable.

You will provide age-appropriate, high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced ED, coordinating with the care team and supporting discharge planning for diverse patients across the lifespan.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing (AN).
• Current Nevada RN license.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• TNCC required within 6 months of hire.
• ENPC bonus not required but recommended.
• English reading/writing; bilingual abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patient and family needs to deliver high-quality ED care.
• Provide nursing care, evaluate outcomes and adjust plans as needed.
• Perform system assessments and monitor abnormal parameters.
• Coordinate discharge planning with patient/family.
