Job summary

Northern Nevada Health System's North Valleys ER operates 24/7 and welcomes patients from pediatrics to seniors. The per diem RN will provide professional nursing care within the Emergency Department, coordinate with other disciplines, and respond quickly to changes in condition or treatment results.

This role requires current NV RN license, 2–3 years in ED or critical care, EMS background preferred, and active BLS/ACLS/PALS.

Qualifications

• Current NV RN License.
• 2–3 years of ED or critical care experience preferred.
• EMS background is a plus and may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department and evaluate outcomes.
• Perform head-to-toe assessments including pediatric, adolescent and geriatric patients.
• Utilize triage to ensure timely and appropriate care and communicate with ED physicians.
