McLane Company, Inc. is hiring a Mechanic II to maintain and repair trailer refrigeration systems and perform complex mechanical and electrical repairs.

The role requires diagnosing and rebuilding components, performing alignments, and ensuring proper documentation and safety compliance. Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED; trade school in heavy duty diesel repairs preferred.
• 2 years of diesel repair experience on tractor-trailers and refrigeration maintenance/repairs.
• 1 year fleet maintenance experience or one year with the company at upper Class C Technician level.
• Possess basic hand tools up to ½" drive and tool storage.
• ASE PMI certification (T8) within 1 year of hire and a valid Class C driver's license (Class A preferred).
• Must read/write English proficient and follow safety rules.
• Certified in relevant heavy-duty systems is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Perform the functions of a Grade 4 Mechanic.
• Maintain and repair trailer refrigeration and perform mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Diagnose, repair, and rebuild components such as clutches, water pumps, brakes, and drive lines.
• Perform diesel engine tune-ups, front wheel and axle alignments.
• Troubleshoot cooling systems and conduct diagnostic tests.
• Cut or weld with torch and welding machine; read service bulletins and manuals.
• Maintain tools and complete all paperwork; follow safety rules.
• Communicate effectively with supervision and peers; be available for on-call shifts.
