Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Mechanic II to perform advanced diesel and trailer refrigeration repairs.

You will conduct preventative maintenance, diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues, and perform on-site and shop-based repairs with minimal supervision. The role requires 2 years of diesel repair experience, a valid Class C license (Class A preferred), and the ability to read service bulletins.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years experience in diesel repairs and refrigeration maintenance.
• Valid Class C driver''s license; Class A preferred.
• ASE PMI certification (within 1 year) or equivalent is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform the functions of a Grade 4 Mechanic.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on trailer refrigeration.
• Perform simple and complex mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Diagnose and repair drives, clutches, water pumps, tires, suspensions, brakes, and transmissions.
• Read, understand and apply service bulletins and manuals.
• Maintain shop tools and complete all paperwork and input data.
