Qualifications

• Education: Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training and a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience: 2-year school plus 1 year experience or 3 years in fleet maintenance and repair.
• Certifications: Annual Inspector, Brake Inspector, ASE preferred, 609 HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Conduct annual inspections on tractors, trailers, and related equipment per regulations.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs to manufacturer specifications including engines, transmissions and electrical systems.
• Follow documentation procedures for all work orders.
• Learn Sysco computer programs and use diagnostic software.
