Job summary

Sysco Eastern Maryland, LLC is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician to ensure safe, reliable vehicles and minimal downtime across the regional fleet. You will perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and complex repairs to manufacturer specifications to boost on-road performance and total fleet reliability.

The role requires medium/heavy-duty truck technical training and a valid driver’s license, with ASE certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Medium/Heavy-duty truck technical training is required.
• ASE certifications are preferred but not required.
• Current and valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment within planned tolerances.
• Conduct Annual inspections (FAI/CVI) on fleet vehicles per federal, state, and local rules.
• Perform repairs to maximize safety and reliability across tractors, trailers, and related equipment.
• Address Driver Vehicle Inspection Report write-ups promptly and efficiently.
• Follow procedures and document work performed on work orders.
