Job summary
Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking a Fleet Technician to provide safe, reliable fleet maintenance by performing preventive inspections and expert diagnosis to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency. The role covers vehicle and equipment inspections, engine, transmission, electrical, and refrigeration repairs, with an emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience with medium/heavy duty truck maintenance preferred.
- ASE certifications and EPA certifications beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment.
- Conduct annual inspections (FAI/CVI) according to regulations.
- Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Perform welding and use diagnostic software for OEM components.
- Ensure work orders are documented and safety procedures followed.
