Job summary

Sysco is seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to provide safe, reliable services for our vehicle fleet. You'll perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and expert diagnostics to reduce downtime and extend fleet life.

Responsibilities include annual inspections, engine/transmission repairs, and accurate work order documentation, using diagnostic software and Sysco programs. A valid CDL/permit is required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-year school and 1 year of experience or 3 years of fleet maintenance experience.
• Current and valid driver's license.
• ASE certifications preferred, not required.
• 609 HVAC certification preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to maximize safety and reliability.
• Perform annual inspections (FAI/CVI) on all fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, drive-lines, electrical, and HVAC systems to manufacturer specs.
• Document all work performed on work orders.
• Learn and use Sysco computer programs and diagnostic software.
