Electrical Automation Services is seeking a Controls Engineer for a night-shift role in Glendale, AZ, offering a base salary of $100,000–$130,000 and a 20% target bonus. This on-site position focuses on automation support for high-speed beverage manufacturing lines and system upgrades.
You will troubleshoot PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, and network issues, mentor technicians, and lead improvements to safety, quality, and throughput. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in engineering technology, information systems, or related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
- 4+ years of industrial automation/controls experience in high-speed manufacturing.
Responsabilités
- Serve as on-shift controls/automation expert for line operations.
- Provide Tier 1 and 2 troubleshooting for PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, and networks.
- Diagnose and fix control-related equipment failures; drive permanent corrective actions.
- Lead controls projects to improve safety, quality, reliability and throughput.
- Mentor maintenance technicians and operators in controls best practices.
