Job summary
Electrical Automation Services is seeking a skilled Controls Engineer for a night-shift, on-site role in Glendale, AZ. The position requires 4+ years in industrial automation and a strong PLC/HMI background to support high-speed beverage processing lines.
You’ll diagnose control systems, mentor technicians, and lead automation projects. Includes relocation assistance and a 2-2-3 schedule with a base salary of $100,000–$130,000 and a 20% target bonus.
Qualifications
- Requires an associate degree or equivalent experience in automation/controls.
- 4+ years of industrial automation experience in high-speed manufacturing.
- Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Serve as on-shift controls and automation expert.
- Provide Tier 1 and 2 troubleshooting for production equipment.
- Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, instrumentation, and network issues.
- Develop and execute controls projects to improve safety, quality, reliability, and throughput.
- Maintain controls documentation and backups.
