Qualifications
- Associates degree in engineering tech or related field; equivalent experience considered.
- 4+ years in industrial automation or controls in high-speed manufacturing.
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming; strong HMI/VFD knowledge.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings; excellent communication.
- Willingness to work a 2-2-3 night shift from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
Responsibilities
- Serve as on-shift controls and automation expert for production lines.
- Provide Tier 1/2 troubleshooting for PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, and networks.
- Diagnose issues, implement corrective actions, and improve reliability and throughput.
- Lead controls projects, safety, quality, and change management activities.
- Mentor maintenance technicians and operators; document controls back-ups.
