Job summary

Electrical Automation Services seeks an experienced Controls Engineer for our Glendale, AZ facility on a 2-2-3 night shift (6:00 PM–6:00 AM). You will lead on-shift automation, perform Tier 1/2 troubleshooting, and drive improvements across bottling, packaging, and conveyance lines.

You’ll mentor technicians, maintain backups and documentation, and collaborate with operations, maintenance, and quality teams to raise safety, quality, and throughput. KHS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in engineering technology or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience in industrial automation in high-speed manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-shift controls and automation expert.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for production equipment.
• Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, instrumentation, and network issues.
• Develop and implement controls projects to improve safety, quality, reliability and throughput.
• Support equipment commissioning, system upgrades, and plant-wide improvements.
