Electrical Automation Services is hiring a Controls Engineer for the Glendale, AZ site on a 2-2-3 night shift schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. You will lead automation support across packaging, processing, and conveying lines, ensuring safe, reliable operation.

The role requires 4+ years in industrial automation, strong PLC/HMI skills, and experience with Allen-Bradley controls. Relocation assistance and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering technology or related field.
• At least four years of industrial automation or controls experience in food and beverage or a high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming capabilities.
• Experience with HMIs, VFDs, servo systems, instrumentation, and industrial networks.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary on-shift controls and automation expert.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for production equipment.
• Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, and network issues.
• Develop and implement controls projects to improve safety, quality and throughput.
• Mentor maintenance staff and participate in change management.
