Electrical Automation Services is seeking a Night-Shift Controls Engineer in Glendale, AZ to provide on-site automation support for high-speed beverage production lines. You will diagnose PLC/HMI issues, program controls, and mentor technicians across shifts.

The role requires 4+ years in industrial automation, strong PLC/SCADA skills, and experience with Allen-Bradley systems. A 2-2-3 night schedule, relocation assistance, and a 20% target bonus are included.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering technology, information systems, industrial automation and controls, or related field.
• 4+ years in industrial automation or controls in high-speed manufacturing.
• Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming capabilities.
• Experience with HMIs, VFDs, servo systems, instrumentation, and networks.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings.
• Excellent communication across plant departments.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary on-shift controls and automation expert.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for automated equipment.
• Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, instrumentation, and network issues.
• Develop and execute controls projects to improve safety, quality, and throughput.
• Maintain backups and documentation for PLCs and HMI systems.
