Electrical Automation Services is seeking a Controls Engineer for a 2-2-3 night schedule in Glendale, AZ. You will be the on-shift automation expert, diagnosing PLC and HMI issues, supporting corrective actions, and leading controls projects to boost safety and throughput.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering technology, information systems, industrial automation, or related technical discipline.
• 4+ years of industrial automation or controls experience in high-speed manufacturing.
• Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming capabilities.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-shift controls and automation expert on a high-speed beverage line.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for production equipment.
• Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, and networking issues and resolve safely.
• Develop and execute controls projects to improve safety, quality, and throughput.
• Maintain backups, documentation, and change records for controls systems.
• Support equipment commissioning, upgrades, and system integration projects.
• Mentor maintenance technicians and operators.
