Electrical Automation Services seeks a skilled Controls Engineer for on-site responsibilities in the Glendale, AZ area. You will be the on-shift controls expert, troubleshooting PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, and network issues across packaging lines and conveyors, coordinating with operations and maintenance.

Ideal candidates have a 4+ year background in high-speed manufacturing, strong reading of electrical schematics, and the ability to mentor technicians and operators.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in engineering tech or related field.
• 4+ years in industrial automation or controls in high-speed manufacturing.
• Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary on-shift controls and automation expert.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for PLC, HMI, VFD, servo systems.
• Diagnose and repair automation equipment to maximize uptime and throughput.
• Document changes, backups, and system modifications.
