Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Glendale, AZ is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer for the night shift to deliver on-shift automation support across the plant. You will troubleshoot PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, and network issues to keep production running.

Lead controls projects to improve safety, quality, reliability, and throughput; mentor maintenance technicians and operators; participate in MOC processes and system upgrades.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering technology or related field.
• At least four years of industrial automation or controls experience in high-speed manufacturing.
• Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming capabilities.
• Experience troubleshooting automated production, conveyor, and packaging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on-shift controls and automation expert.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for automated production equipment.
• Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, and industrial-network issues.
• Develop and implement projects to improve safety, quality, reliability, and throughput.
