Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Glendale, AZ is seeking a seasoned Controls Engineer to join on the night shift. You will serve as the on-shift controls expert, troubleshoot PLC/HMI/VFD issues, and collaborate across operations, maintenance, engineering, and quality to improve safety and throughput.

The role requires an Associate degree in engineering technology or related field and 4+ years in high-speed manufacturing automation. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in engineering technology, information systems, industrial automation and controls, or related field.
• At least four years of industrial automation or controls experience in high-speed manufacturing environments.
• Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on-shift controls and automation expert.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for automated production equipment.
• Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, instrumentation, motion-control, and network issues.
