Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a Controls Engineer for night shift at a Glendale, AZ facility. You will serve as the on-shift controls expert, troubleshooting automated production, processing, and packaging equipment, while mentoring technicians and operators.

You will diagnose PLC/HMI/VFD issues and lead automation projects to提升 safety, reliability, and throughput, collaborating with operations, maintenance, engineering, and quality teams.

Qualifications

Associate degree in engineering technology or related controls field.
4+ years in industrial automation in high-speed manufacturing environments.
Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming skills.
Ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings.

Responsibilities

Serve as on-shift controls and automation expert.
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for production equipment.
Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, and network issues.
Lead controls projects to improve safety, quality and throughput.
Mentor maintenance technicians and operators.
