Job summary
Electrical Automation Services is seeking a seasoned Controls Engineer for a night shift at our Glendale, AZ facility. You will lead on-shift automation, provide tiered troubleshooting for PLC/HMI systems, and drive projects to improve throughput and reliability.
The role requires strong PLC programming, HMIs, and networking know-how, with mentoring responsibilities for maintenance staff and operators. A 2-2-3 night schedule and relocation support are available.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in automation/controls.
- Experience in high-speed manufacturing environments preferred.
Responsibilities
- Serve as on-shift controls and automation expert.
- Provide Tier 1 and 2 troubleshooting for PLC/HMI/network issues.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with PLC, HMIs, VFDs, servo systems.
- Develop and execute controls projects to improve safety, quality, reliability, and throughput.
- Maintain backups and documentation for PLC/HMI programs.
