Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Glendale, Arizona, is seeking a Controls Engineer for the night shift to provide on-site automation support at a high-speed beverage facility.

You will diagnose PLC/HMI, drive, servo, and network issues, mentor maintenance staff, and lead controls upgrades, commissioning, and continuous-improvement projects on filling and packaging lines.

Relocation assistance is available; base salary is $100,000–$130,000 with a 20% target bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent experience in automation/controls.
4+ years in industrial automation or controls in high-speed manufacturing.
Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming skills.
Ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings.

Responsibilities

Serve as on-shift controls expert and provide Tier 1/2 troubleshooting.
Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, instrumentation and network issues.
Develop and execute controls projects to improve safety, quality and throughput.
Lead training and mentorship for maintenance technicians and operators.
