Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a Controls Engineer for the night shift to support a high-speed beverage facility on-site in Buckeye, AZ. The role covers on-shift automation expert duties at the Glendale, AZ plant, working 6:00 PM–6:00 AM on a 2-2-3 schedule.

You will troubleshoot PLC/HMI networks, mentor maintenance technicians, and drive projects to improve safety, quality and throughput. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• An associate degree or equivalent in engineering tech or related field.
• 4+ years in industrial automation or controls in high-speed manufacturing.
• Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming skills.
• Experience with HMIs, VFDs, servo systems, instrumentation, and networks.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-shift controls and automation expert.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for automated equipment.
• Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, and networking issues.
• Lead controls projects to improve safety, quality, reliability, and throughput.
• Support equipment commissioning, upgrades, and system integration.
