100Hires, Inc. Glendale, AZ is seeking a Controls Engineer to support high-speed beverage production on the 2-2-3 night shift (6:00 PM–6:00 AM).
This role will serve as on-shift controls expert, diagnosing PLC/HMI/VFD issues, leading automation projects, and mentoring maintenance technicians to improve safety, quality, reliability, and throughput. The ideal candidate has an associate degree in engineering technology or related field with 4+ years in industrial automation, strong PLC
Qualifications
- Associate degree in engineering technology or related field.
- At least four years of industrial automation or controls experience.
- Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary on-shift controls and automation expert.
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for automated production, processing, and packaging equipment.
- Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, instrumentation, and network issues.
- Develop and execute controls projects to improve safety, quality, reliability, and throughput.
- Mentor maintenance technicians and operators.
