Electrical Automation Services in Glendale, AZ is seeking a Controls Engineer for a night shift to support high-speed beverage processing lines. You will diagnose PLC, HMI, and motion-control issues, implement fixes, and mentor maintenance staff while driving reliability and throughput improvements.

Responsibilities include leading on-shift controls, backing up programs, and collaborating with operations and quality to ensure safe, efficient production.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent experience in automation or controls.
4+ years in industrial automation or controls in high-speed manufacturing.
Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming capabilities.
Ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary on-shift controls and automation expert.
Diagnose and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, and networks.
Implement permanent corrective actions for recurring issues.
Lead controls projects to improve safety, quality, and throughput.
Provide training and mentorship to maintenance staff.
