Job summary

Mativ Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Wknd Coating Operator for the night shift to support the Sustainability and Adhesives Solutions group. You will set up and operate coating machines, apply adhesive to release liners and substrates, and maintain a cleanroom-like environment.

The role requires manual dexterity, mechanical aptitude, and careful data entry into shop systems. Friday through Sunday, 6:00 pm to 6:00 am shifts; candidates must adhere to ISO procedures and participate in continuous

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; fluency in English both verbal and written; basic math and reading skills.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to accurately use measuring devices.
Experience with data entry and basic computer use.

Responsibilities

Set up coating machine to obtain specified adhesive thickness and coated width.
Activate and adjust pressure, tension, and temperature to start and run the machine per work order.
Move materials safely using lift trucks or hoists and maintain cleanliness.
Enter data into the computer system and ensure inventory accuracy for each job.
Perform complete set-up and operation of wet and dry ends and related machine functions.
Ensure safe changeovers, cleaning, and routine maintenance of equipment.
Coordinate shift transitions and communicate activities to the next shift.
Train new operators and assist with team housekeeping and safety.
