Job summary

Mativ Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Wknd Coating Assistant for the night shift (Friday–Sunday, 6:00pm–6:00am) at its Windsor, CT site. You will set up and operate coating machines, apply adhesives, and ensure product quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include preparing materials, data entry, machine changeovers, and housekeeping to enable efficient production while following ISO procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Basic math and reading skills; mechanical aptitude.
• Proficient with data entry and computers.

Responsibilities

• Clean coating machine and prepare materials for coating.
• Prepare adhesives, solvents, additives, and liners for processing.
• Enter job data in the computer system and track inventory.
• Set up and operate wet or dry ends of coating machines.
• Assist with changeovers, cleaning, maintenance, and safety.
• Ensure production readiness for subsequent jobs at the machine.
• Communicate shift activities and alert supervisor to issues.
• Maintain housekeeping and organize work area.
