Job summary

Mativ is seeking a Coating Operator to support our Sustainability and Adhesives Solution Function in Windsor, CT. The role involves setting up and operating coating machines, applying adhesive to release liners and substrates, and ensuring ISO-compliant quality and safety throughout the shift.

The position requires training on machine operation, material handling, data entry, and inventory accuracy. Friday–Sunday, 6:00am–6:00pm shifts; a cleanroom mindset is important.

Qualifications

• Sets up coating machine to obtain specified adhesive thickness and width.
• Operates and controls machine parameters to match work orders and sheets.
• Maintains data accuracy and quality within specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate coating machines, including wet and dry ends.
• Prepare raw materials and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Maintain clean room appearance and safety standards.
• Perform changeovers, cleaning, and simple maintenance.
• Train new coater operators as needed.
