Job summary

Mativ Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Coating Operator to support the Sustainability and Adhesives Solution Function.

This role involves set up and operation of coating machines applying adhesive to release liners and substrates, maintaining clean room appearance, and ensuring safety and quality. The successful candidate will handle wet and dry ends, data entry, and participate in shift handoffs, with emphasis on continuous improvement and adherence to ISO procedures.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English (verbal and written) with basic math and reading skills.
• Be mechanically inclined and able to operate measuring devices accurately.
• Set up coating machines to achieve specified adhesive thickness and width.
• Maintain product quality per run/process sheets; flag non-conformances.

Responsibilities

• Clean coating machine for process prep and quality assurance.
• Prepare raw materials (adhesive, solvents, additives, liners) for coating.
• Operate wet and dry ends; perform changeovers, cleaning, and basic maintenance.
• Enter data into computer systems and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Train new operators; promote teamwork and safety.
• Keep workstation and area clean; adhere to ISO procedures.
