Job summary

Banner Health in Casper, Wyoming seeks a Certified Patient Care Assistant for the Neuro Unit. This full-time night shift (6:00pm–6:30am) places you at the bedside handling observation, ADL support, and data collection. Requires BLS and active CNA in-state; prior medical clerical experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Current BLS certification required.
• Current CNA license in state of practice.
• Approximately 1 year of medical clerical or hospital experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and medical terminology skills.
• ECG/EEG interpretation capability or training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care to promote comfort and contribute to the care plan.
• Record vital signs, intake/output, and document in the patient chart.
• Sit 1:1 with patients for observation and assist nursing staff with ADL tasks.
• Assist with EKGs and other delegated procedures under supervision.
• Handle receptionist/clerical duties and maintain unit security of supplies.
• Transcribe orders and maintain complete patient records in EMR.
