Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Progressive Care Unit in Casper, Wyoming. This full-time day-shift role supports nursing teams with ADLs, charting, vital signs, and basic patient care, while gaining hands-on experience including EKGs as part of training.

The position requires BLS, active CNA credential, and strong patient-service skills; prior hospital exposure is preferred. Enjoy a structured teamwork environment and the Banner Total Rewards program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Current CNA license in the state of practice is required.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer use is required.
• Experience with or training in ECG interpretation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance in activities of daily living and mobility support.
• Collects vital signs and documents data in the EMR.
• Maintains accurate patient records and charts; communicates with the care team.
• Assists with EKGs and ECG monitoring under supervision.
• Performs receptionist/clerical duties to support unit operations.
