Job summary

Banner Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, WY is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Medical Unit. You will provide routine patient care, assist with daily living activities, and support nursing staff in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities include data collection, vital signs, and documentation in the EMR, with emphasis on patient comfort and communication with caregivers. A 3-12 shift from 6:00am to 6:30pm is offered with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for 12-month commitment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Current CNA certification in state of practice required for new hires/transfers.
• Minimum 1 year of medical clerical experience or related customer service experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills required.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and keyboarding skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living to promote patient health.
• Collect vital signs and other data; document in EMR.
• Recognize and report abnormalities to licensed staff.
• Assist with procedures and use of equipment under supervision.
• Perform receptionist/clerical duties to support department operations.
• Maintain patient records, charts, and supply levels.
• Support unit operations including transport of supplies and patients.
• Assist with OR turnover and post-operative transport as needed.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer service.
