Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Casper, Wyoming area to join our Surgical Unit team. This full-time, day shift (3 x 12-hour shifts per week, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM) role focuses on patient care, data collection, and unit support.

BLS and CNA in state of practice are required, with 1 year of medical clerical experience preferred. The unit cares for bariatric, joint, and spinal procedures, emphasizing patient comfort and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Current CNA license in state of practice required for new hires.
• 1 year of medical clerical experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and computer literacy.
• Relevant ECG/EEG interpretation training or unit-based training required.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care to promote comfort and assist with the overall patient plan of care.
• Collect patient data including vital signs and document in medical records.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Perform procedures under supervision, including basic nursing tasks.
• Support clerical duties to ensure efficient unit operation.
