Job summary

Advocate Condell Medical Center in Wheeling, IL is seeking a Nursing Aide to join the Nursing Float Pool on a full-time night shift. This role supports RNs with basic patient care and essential duties across units.

The candidate will document in the EMR, monitor vital signs, and adhere to safety, infection control, and hospital policies. Night rotation and weekend/holiday coverage are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• BLS within 45 days of start date.
• Nurse Aide in good standing per State Registry.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care (bathing, feeding, mobility) as directed.
• Record vital signs, intake/output, and weights; document in EMR.
• Perform rounds and communicate findings to RN and patient/family.
• Prepare and transfer patients, maintain equipment and supplies, and support room setup.
